Le Mont St Michelle takes claim to being the birth place of crepes. This is where our founder found his inspiration. It was on a warm fall morning as the crepe chefs were prepping for the day at their crepery perched on the cliff of Mont St. Michelle. Using the whisks and bowls as musical instruments, singing rhythmic hymns, they were not just making crepe batter they were entertaining locals with a performance. It wasn't just batter it was the "batta!" Wanting to share this experience we have taken the "batta" from the Mont St. Michelle and created a brand called Mobatta. Here everyone can experience the art and theater of crepe making.
